We are so excited to share our passion for music with you and give you the opportunity to develop your skills. Our guitar programs are sure to help each student learn to play and read sheet music while also challenging each student at their own level.
We have 4 options for the Winter/Spring Session. Click the underlined area for more info on each:
1. Guitar Collective classes - open to ages 8 through adult.
2. Largo Guitar Ensemble for ages 8-12
3. Andante Guitar Ensemble for ages 13-17
4. The Learning Groove Music Class for ages 1-4
Location: All classes are in person at Cheshire Baptist Church - 32 North St, Cheshire, MA
Step 1: Pre-Register for the class you would like.
Step 2: Check your email to sign up for payments to complete registration.
Guitar Collective Membership
A membership to the guitar collective will provide the student with individual instruction in classical guitar in a group setting. The student can attend any of the 12 open class hours a week, and they can attend as many as they would like. You book your times right through our app! See class times.
The student is able to learn at their own pace while also having the opportunity to work on their individual skills in a group setting. The teacher provides individual instruction to each student and also provides time for them to practice while they help the other students.
They will be able to play a piece in the recital by the end of the session regardless of their starting level.

Who are these lessons open to?
Ages 8 and up! - We ask that parents stay with their children during the lesson if they are under 12 years old. We may accept younger students if they are developmentally ready.

Do you have any plans for multiple students in the same family?
Yes! We offer a special family membership that allows for up to 4 people in the same family to attend these lessons.

How much does the Winter/Spring membership cost?
​
Single Student- $100 a month for 6 months or from when you sign up until the end of the semester
There is also a bi-weekly payment option.
​
Family Membership (up to 4 students) - $180 a month for 6 months or from the time you sign up until the end of the semester.
There is also a bi-weekly payment option.

What will I need?
You will need a classical guitar and the Christopher Parkening Guitar Method Vol 1. book. If you need buy a guitar, we can give you advice on an affordable classical guitar and the right size for you/your student.

Guitar Collective Schedule for Winter/Spring 2022

Class 1: 1:45 pm -2:45 pm
Class 2: 2:50 pm- 3:50 pm
Class 3: 3:55 pm -4:55 pm
Class 4: 5:00 pm-6:00 pm
Class 5: 6:05-7:05 pm

Class 1: 1:10 pm-2:10 pm

Largo Guitar Ensemble
Open to ages 8 to 12

The Largo guitar ensemble is a group classical guitar class where students will be learning how to play classical guitar and how to play together as a group.
​
By the end of this class, the students will be able to perform a group ensemble piece at our recital!
​
Class Time: Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 p.m.​
Cost: $60 a month per student for 6 months (if you pay all at once, you save $36 and pay $324 in one lump sum).
​
What will I need?
You will need your own classical guitar and the Christopher Parkening Guitar Method Vol 1. book. We offer guitar rentals at 10% down (about $25) plus $10 a week with the option to rent-to-buy. Or if you want to buy your own, ask us for info on an affordable classical guitar and the right size.

Andante Guitar Ensemble
Open to ages 13-17
Registration Closed
The Andante guitar ensemble is a group classical guitar class where students will be learning how to play classical guitar and how to play together as a group.
​
By the end of this class, the students will be able to perform a group ensemble piece at our winter recital!
​
Class Time: Tuesdays - 6:45-7:45 p.m.
​
Cost: $60 a month per student for 6 months (if you pay all at once, you save $36 and pay $324 in one lump sum).
